Susan Martin
Recognized by her peers for excellence, Attorney and Partner Susan Martin is an experienced trial attorney with more than one hundred trials including 35 murder jury trials and a success rate far above the national average.

She attended law school in our nation's capital, Washington, D.C. There, she worked as a communications lawyer for a top-tier law firm which was located only a block away from the White House.

In 1992, she returned to her hometown of Wichita, Kansas, where she culled her litigation skills as an active criminal defense trial attorney and supervisor in an office of 18 attorneys. She successfully tried many cases resulting in "not guilty" verdicts on charges such as murder, kidnaping, robbery, sex offenses, burglary, assault, battery, firearm and drug charges.

Licensed to practice law in Kansas and Colorado, Ms. Martin moved to Colorado in 2001 to pursue private practice opportunities where she and Ms. St. Clair founded Martin & St. Clair LLC, a firm that specializes in criminal defense.

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Martin was a journalist and has published more than 500 articles in various magazine and newspapers in several states. She has been active in numerous civil and volunteer organizations, having received the National Association of Volunteer Administrators' Continuing Service Award.

She attended law school at Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. where she was awarded honors as a communications law student. She also served as a federal law clerk to The Honorable Patrick Kelly, 10th Circuit Federal District Court Judge.

Amber St. Clair
Attorney and Partner Amber St. Clair has an extensive background in criminal trials and civil lawsuits. Ms. St. Clair has been a criminal defense lawyer for many years and began her career as a prosecutor. In addition, she has extensive litigation experience in the areas of medical and professional liability, personal injury and products liability.

Recognized for excellence by her peers, Ms. St. Clair has tried more than 100 trials having received "not guilty" verdicts in cases involving murder, rape, sex crimes, drugs and DUI, among others. Her jury trial win percentage is far about the national average. Her trial skills were featured live on Court TV where she received glowing reviews from the commentators and the majority of the viewing public's support.

Ms. St. Clair is licensed to practice in Colorado and Kansas.

Ms. St. Clair graduated with honors from Washburn University School of Law. While in law school, she was inducted into the Order of the Barristers, admitted to both the Moot Court and Trial Advocacy teams, awarded top paper in Products Liability class, the CALI Excellence Award for Excellent Achievement in the Study of Products Liability, top speaker in the Washburn Intramural Trial Advocacy Competition, Washburn University Moot Court Counsel Outstanding Student Brief, nominated to Who's Who Among American Universities & Colleges, invited to join the local American Inn of Court, given one of two student positions on the law school admissions board and achieved various feats in both the national moot court and trial advocacy arenas.

Ms. St. Clair graduated Magna Cum Laude from Baker University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History, Political Science and Philosophy.
